BJP MLAs marshalled out of Delhi Assembly for raising DJB scam
Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri alleged that the BJP MLAs were denied permission to discuss the DJB issue.

The saffron party in the home state of Jagat Prakash Nadda is buoyed over the extension of his tenure as BJP national President till June 2024. Union Minister Amit Shah announced his extension on Tuesday. State BJP President Suresh Kashyap hailing the extension said that Nadda had led the party in an excellent manner.
“The BJP has become a strong political organization under the leadership of Nadda. It is clearly visible from the way the party is working under Nadda’s foresightedness and once again under the leadership of Narendra Modi, BJP will form a strong government at the center in 2024,” he claimed.

Expressing hope that the party will perform well in the Assembly elections to be held in nine states in 2023 under the leadership of Nadda, he said that all these elections will go a long way to play a significant role in making political perception for the General Elections to be held in 2024.

BJP contested 120 elections under the leadership of Jagat Prakash Nadda, out of which we won 73, he said, adding that Nadda is the third national leader to have become the national president for the second time in a row.
Former Union Health Minister Nadda hails from Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh. Nadda was born on 2 December 1960 in Patna, Bihar. After completing his BA from Patna University, he studied LLB from Himachal Pradesh University. He actively participated in various movements run by Jai Prakash Narayan during his youth.
Nadda was associated with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and was elected ABVP’s National Secretary in 1989. In 1991, he was made the president of BJYM. In 1993, he was elected as MLA in Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly for the first time and was elected Leader of Opposition.
He was re-elected in 1998 and became the Health Minister in the BJP State Government. In 2010, he was made the National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was elected as a Rajya Sabha member in 2012 for the first time.
He took command of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, from 2014-2019. In June 2019, he was elected the National Working President of the BJP and in January 2020, the national president BJP.
