Bihar ‘nerve centre’ of country’s politics, change starts from here only: Rahul at Patna rally
Rahul Gandhi said that INDIA bloc will defeat the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections and form government at the Centre.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday exuded confidence that INDIA alliance will defeat the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and form government at the Centre. Addressing a massive gathering during INDIA bloc’s joint ‘Jan Vishwash Rally’ in Patna’s Gandhi Maidan, the Gandhi scion said that Bihar is the “nerve centre” of Indian politics and that whenever there is a change in the country, it starts from here only.
“Bihar is the ‘nerve center’ of the country’s politics. Whenever there is change in the country, it starts from Bihar only,” the Congress leader said.
Gandhi said that the INDIA alliance stands for love, brotherhood and respect, while the BJP has the ideology of “hatred, violence and ego”.

“Today there is a fight between two ideologies in the country. On one side there is hatred, violence and ego, on the other side there is love, brotherhood and respect. If you want to understand INDIA alliance then there is only one line for that. We open a ‘shop of love in the market of hatred’,” he added.
Speaking at the mega rally, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge called Prime Minister Modi “lord of lies” and accused him of not fulfilling his promises of making Patna a smart city and providing two crore jobs every year among others.
“Modi ji always says ‘my guarantee’… but let me tell you what is his guarantee. Will provide 2 crore jobs every year. Will bring black money from abroad. I will put 15 lakhs in everyone’s account. By 2022 every person will have a permanent house. Farmer’s income will double by 2022. Will make Patna a smart city. No one got all this – that means Modi ji is the ‘lord of lies’,” Kharge said.
The Congress chief also accused Modi government of using central.probe agencies to intimidate the Opposition.
“Modi government uses ED, CBI and IT to intimidate the opposition. Lalu ji is being threatened continuously, but he does not bow down. Whereas Nitish Kumar joined BJP and now he is saying – We will remain at your feet,” he added.
