Expert panel stresses production of M-Sand to reduce dependency on river sand

The eight-day “Garvi Gujarat” tour showcasing Gujarat heritage set off from Safdarjung railway station will culminate at Dwarka railway station in Gujarat.
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw flagged off the Bharat Gaurav deluxe AC tourist train for “Garvi Gujarat” on Tuesday, The Railways has introduced the train to showcase the heritage of Gujarat under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programme.
Besides Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr Mansukh Mandaviya and Minister of Culture G Kishan Reddy were present at the event.
The tourist train will depart from Delhi’s Safdarjung station on February 28 on an eight-day “Garvi Gujarat” tour and will culminate at the Dwarka railway station in Gujarat.

Boarding and deboarding facilities are provided at Gurugram, Rewari, Ringas, Phullera and Ajmer railway stations for the convenience of tourists. The tour will comprise visit to prominent Gujarat pilgrimage and heritage sites such as the Statue of Unity, Champaner, Somnath, Dwarka, Nageshwar, Beyt Dwarka, Ahmedabad, Modhera and Patan.
