Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary and said Bapu’s aspirations for Ram Rajya and world peace were deep-rooted in his teachings.
The Chief Minister offered floral tributes at the statue of Bapu at GPO in the presence of school children who also paid their respects to the Mahatma through recitation of bhajans.
Remembering Mahatma Gandhi, the Chief Minister wrote on his social media handle X, “Humble tribute to the unparalleled symbol of humanity, Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, on his death anniversary. The profound thoughts of Pujya Bapu pave the way for the fulfillment of the resolve of ‘Ek Bharat – Shrestha Bharat’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. His aspirations for Ram Rajya and world peace are ingrained in his teachings.”
