High alert has been sounded in the entire Uttar Pradesh, particularly in Ayodhya after three suspected Khalistani supporters were detained by the security personnel late Thursday evening.

Meanwhile, journalists in Lucknow and other parts of UP have received recorded calls from Khalastani supporters, originating from Britain, since last night alleging detention of their sympathisers by UP Police.

DG( Law and order) Prashant Kumar on Friday said three suspects were nabbed last evening in Ayodhya near the Ram temple.Though no evidence was found of their connections with any terror outfit.
He said IB sleuths were interrogating the three reported to be from Sikar in Rajasthan.
The DG said security arrangements have been further tightened and on Thursday, Anti Terrorism Squad(ATS) commandos along with a convoy of vehicles checked the security of Ayodhya. Surveillance has been increased at important places from Nayaghat to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi.
On the other hand, 257 magistrates have been deployed to make better arrangements in the city and rural areas.
The last contingent of police force also reached Ayodhya to handle the security arrangements during the consecration ceremony. Apart from the police of various districts of the state, personnel of rapid reaction force (RRF) , Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) , rapid reaction force (RRF) and Pradeshik Armed Constabulary (PAC) have been deployed.
More than 10,000 security personnel have been called from various districts in view of the Pran Pratistha ceremony. These include more than 100 DSPs, 325 inspectors and 800 sub-inspectors, three DIGs for VIP security, 17 SPs, 40 ASPs, 82 DSPs and 90 inspectors.
Four companies of paramilitary forces RRF, two companies SSB, one company ITBP and 26 companies PAC were also deployed during the event.
SSP Rajkaran Nayyar said that a sufficient number of police forces have arrived and they have been deployed at various places. ATS commandos rehearsed with the convoy of vehicles on Thursday.
