The Hindu Sena has long been demanding the government to rename the Babar Road.

Earlier in the 2019, the activists of the Hindutva outfit had blackened Babar Road sign board and pasted stickers of ‘Hindu Sena’.

The development comes days before the consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

The mega event, which will be highlighted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will be held on January 22.

Ahead of the event, the security has been tightened in Ayodhya and several other places across the country, including national capital Delhi.
