Himachal CM gives clean chit to ministers and MLAs in Assembly on corruption issue
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has given a clean chit to his ministers and MLAs on the issue of corruption.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley congratulated the people of Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland – the three states where BJP performed triumphantly at the assembly polls.
Hailing the victories, Jaitley extended his congratulations to all the BJP workers in each of the states for their effort in ensuring victory in Tripura and stupendous performance in both Nagaland and Meghalaya.

In a series of tweets, the Finance Minister credited the government’s development agenda under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He especially thanked the people of Tripura, where the BJP wiped out the CPI(M) government which has ruled the north-eastern state uninterrupted since 1993.

Jaitley said that the victories are proof that the people of the three states are against corruption and support the Centre’s mission of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’.

Leading on 44 seats, the BJP is set to form a government in the 60-seat Tripura Assembly. The CPI(M) was down to 14.
In Nagaland, the NPF+ was leading in 24 seats and the BJP+ was leading in 32.
In Meghalaya, the Congress was leading with 19 seats, but BJP had leads in 3 while NPP was leading in 18. Others were leading in 19 seats.
