Alleging large-scale fraud in the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav said corruption is at its peak with loot at every level.

In a statement on Monday, the SP chief lamented that the rate of every post and every position is fixed in the BJP government as corruption is happening in every department. “There is no department where looting is not taking place. The chief minister is not a Yogi, but he is corrupt. The new face of the BJP government is corruption and organised loot,” he added.

Akhilesh Yadav said in the 2027 assembly elections, only the successful meaningfulness of the wishes will be achieved by removing the BJP from power and forming a Samajwadi Party government for the welfare of the people and the development of UP.

He alleged a scramble in the BJP government for the spoils of corruption and loot. BJP MLAs and leaders are themselves making allegations of corruption and loot while nobody is immune from corruption. As a result, women, businessmen, farmers, youth, and the general public all are suffering.

The SP chief further said that there was a huge resentment in the public against the BJP. The party conspires to influence the election process by manipulating the voter list and getting PDA votes deducted. They want to win the elections by rigging and conspiracy.

He also accused the BJP government of neglecting the villages and farmers. “Under the Lohia Gram Yojana in the Samajwadi government, roads, drinking water and other facilities were developed in thousands of villages, but due to malice, the BJP stopped all the schemes for the development of the villages,” he alleged.

Pointing out that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had adopted Nagepur village of his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi in 2016 but there has been no development in that village.

He asked party leaders and workers to take a pledge to foil the conspiracies of the BJP. “The booth has to be strengthened and the voter list has to be rectified by keeping a close eye on it. If the workers remain alert, the BJP will not be able to do rigging. We have to win the 2027 assembly elections at any cost in the interest of the state,” he announced.
