Jannayak Janata Party(JJP) leader and the deputy Chief Minister designate Dushyant Chautala’s father Ajay Chautala came out of Tihar Jail on Sunday morning after being granted furlough for 14 days.
“It is a matter of pride for us that he has got into an alliance with BJP. It will be beneficial for the state,” said Ajay Chautala during interaction with the media after walking out of the Tihar jail.
“Dushyant asked me if he should go with BJP or Congress. I told him, whatever the circumstances, we shall never go with Congress. I gave him the go-ahead to go with BJP,” senior Chautala was quoted by Indian Express as saying.

The JJP founder Ajay Chautala praised his son for “establishing the organisation in just 11 months”.
Om Prakash Chautala and Ajay, the father son duo was jailed in 2013 as they were convicted in JBT teachers’ recruitment scam along with 53 others. He was granted furlough soon after BJP and his son Dushyant came together to form the government in Haryana.
Dushyant Chautala will take oath today along with the BJP chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Before meeting his party’s winning legislators to discuss party strategy, he met his father Ajay in jail and will take oath as the deputy chief minister of the Manohar Lal Khattar-led government on Sunday.
