The Congress party on Thursday released the third list of 57 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections including its Leader in the Lower House Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury from West Bengal’s Baharampur constituency.
The party has fielded former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki from Arunachal West parliamentary seat against Union Minister and BJP nominee Kiren Rijiju.

Among the other candidates are Sonal Patel from Gujarat’s Gandhinagar, G Kumar Naik from Karnataka’s Raichur, and Sunil Sharma from Rajasthan’s Raipur.
The release of the list came days after the party’s Central Election Committee (CEC) finalised the names of candidates during the meetings chaired by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge at the party headquarters.
It may be mentioned that in the first list, the Congress released the names of 39 candidates including former party president Rahul Gandhi, who has been fielded from Kerala’s Wayanad, the constituency he represents.
In the second list, the party announced the names of 43 candidates for the General Elections.
