Devastating fire engulfs Topsia slum, over 100 shanties destroyed
A devastating fire broke out in a slum near EM Bypass in Topsia today, ahead of Christmas, destroying around 100 shanties.
Over 1,500 vendors from 18 countries are expected to participate in the four-day event at Pragati Maidan.
The 37th edition of AAHAR, the international food and hospitality Fair will be inaugurated at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on March 14.
India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) will be organising the fair from March 14 to 18 at the newly-built halls of International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC). The event is being organized with the support of the Union Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Agriculture and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), and other bodies.

According to an official release, with a view to promote new entrepreneurs, a special discount of 50 per cent in participation charges is being offered to startups. Over 1,500 vendors from 18 countries are expected to participate in the event.

2023 being the “International Year of Millets”, special emphasis will be given to promotion of the millets.
The four-day extravaganza will open from 10 AM to 6 PM at IECC halls 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 12 A and 14.
