Emergency preparedness in place for Mahakumbh
The Uttar Pradesh government is fully committed to ensuring the success of Mahakumbh 2025, with extensive preparations to handle any emergency.
District Magistrate Deepak Meena confirmed that four persons died after they were trapped in the debris of the collapsed factory but are yet to identified.
At least four persons were killed and six others were injured after an explosion in a soap factory at Lohia Nagar locality in the city on Tuesday morning.
The deceased were yet to be identified while the injured including two children have been admitted to the hospital.
Police said that some explosives were recovered from the spot and ATS teams were investigating the case.

The DM has ordered an investigation into the incident. Teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) from Ghaziabad also rushed to speed up the rescue operation.
Taking cognizance of the matter, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered a thorough investigation in the
incident and sought a report from the officials.
The CM expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased and instructed the district administration officials to immediately take the injured to the hospital and provide them with proper treatment.
According to the eye witness, the building collapsed with a loud explosion at around 7 am in the morning. The explosion was so powerful that many nearby buildings suffered cracks.
