An Uttar Pradesh State Roadways Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus crushed to death four employees of a company when they were crossing the GT Road in the Badlapur area of the Gautam Buddha Nagar district on late Wednesday night.
Police said three other employees were critically injured in the accident.

According to the information, the roadways bus hit the employees while they were crossing the road in front of Hero Motors Company located on GT Road in the Badalpur Kotwali area at around 11 pm.

The bus driver fled the scene leaving his vehicle after the incident.

The victims of the accident were employees Sankeshwar Kumar Das(25) of Munger -Bihar, Mohri Kumar(22) of Banka- Bihar, Satish (25) of Meja – Prayagraj and Gopal(34) of Badlapur. The injured were identified as Anuj, Dharamveer and Sandeep.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in the road accident in Greater Noida.
The chief minister conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members of the victims and has instructed the district magistrate and senior police officers to go to the spot and get relief work done.
The CM instructed the officials to ensure proper treatment of the injured and wished them speedy recovery.
