UP govt screens 27 lakh citizens in special campaign to eradicate TB by 2025
The Uttar Pradesh government has screened more than 27 lakh citizens as part of a comprehensive campaign to eliminate tuberculosis (TB) from Uttar Pradesh by 2025.
The main accused has been arrested, whereas, two others are unidentified and are on the run, a senior police official said.
In a shocking video that has gone viral on social media, a 16-year-old girl was shown being dragged and molested by a group of young boys in Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh.
The girl was seen shouting for help as the young men molested her and dragged her to a forested area. The video shows the girl sitting on the ground surrounded by the men and pleading to let her go.

Reports claim that the video is around 10 days’ old. Preliminary enquiries have revealed that the incident is from July 12.

DIG Jhansi zone, Subhash Singh Baghel said police officials were rushed to the spot and have been directed to take strong action against the accused.
The incident comes just months after a similar video emerged from Bihar’s Jehanabad area, in which a group of eight boys were seen molesting, dragging and trying to disrobe a minor girl.
Also, another video emerged from UP’s Unnao district showing a group of boys molesting a middle-aged woman.
