PM Modi condoles loss of lives in Maharashtra rail accident
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed anguish over the rail accident in Maharashtra's Jalgaon in which eight to 10 people reportedly died and several others were injured.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended his greeting to the countrymen on the occasion of Holi, an annual festival of colours celebrated as thanksgiving for a good harvest.
In a tweet, PM Modi said, ”होली के पावन पर्व की सभी देशवासियों को ढेरों शुभकामनाएं। Wishing everyone a Happy Holi!”

Prime Minister Modi said, he wishes the festival brings happiness in the lives of all countrymen.
Holi is a Hindu spring festival in India, Pakistan and Nepal, also known as the “festival of colours” or the “festival of love”. A festival, which celebrates the victory of good over evil, also marks the end of winter and the arrival of spring.
