Sukhu expresses grief over Dr Singh’s demise
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed grief over the passing of former Prime Misnister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh.
“When the results will come on December 8, the BJP is going to form the government with full majority, the Congress party is only dreaming of forming the government,” said the party’s Himachal in-charge.
Amid speculations of BJP trying to get in touch with its rebel candidates who contested elections, party’s Himachal in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna said that BJP will form a government in Himachal Pradesh on its own.
“When the results will come on December 8, the BJP is going to form the government with full majority, the Congress party is only dreaming of forming the government,” he said in a statement issued here on Friday.

He said the BJP was making this claim because development work has been done at a fast pace in Himachal Pradesh and are visible on the ground, he said, adding that his party does not just run the government of announcements, it also fulfills them, so BJP is all set to form the government with full majority.

The BJP has fought the elections with the resolve to change the customs in the state and this resolution will be fulfilled, he asserted, adding that history will be created in Himachal Pradesh and to achieve this objective BJP had already made preparations, Khanna said.
“There was good coordination between the government and the organization in Himachal Pradesh, due to which huge enthusiasm was seen among the BJP workers,” he claimed.
In Himachal Pradesh, BJP organised public meetings in all the 68 assembly constituencies, which saw a good turnout and great enthusiasm, he said, adding that the party also campaigned door-to-door in which BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda and Union Minister Amit Shah actively participated.
Taking a dig at Congress, the BJP’s Himachal in-charge said that the party tried to mislead the public on the issue of the Old Pension Scheme, but all the employees of Himachal Pradesh know which party works with a strong will.
Congress governments also announced old pensions in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, but nothing has happened so far, he blamed.
In Himachal Pradesh women voted in large numbers which is a good sign in favor of the BJP, he claimed.
The history created in Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Manipur, and Uttarakhand will also be visible in Himachal Pradesh, said Khanna.
The elections for Himachal Pradesh Assembly were held on 12 November. The counting and results will be declared on 8 December.
