Somy Ali opens up about Deepika Padukone facing mockery over depression
Actress and activist Somy Ali has recently opened up about the challenges Deepika Padukone faced during her battle with depression.
Padmaavat actress Deepika Padukone has been dealing with a lot of backlash from some fringe groups for her latest film. The whole of Bollywood fraternity stood for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial venture and praised the performance of the cast on Twitter. Beside the B-town celebrities, fans too stood with the team and supported them throughout the agitation.
The actress was equally considerate and humble to thank her fans on the social media portal for their admiration. Deepika Padukone’s Ghoomar song from the film has been trending since its release. The beautifully shot song is loved by the audience, although it couldn’t impress the Karni Sena and CBFC had to get Deepika’s midriff covered in the Ghoomar 2.0 version.

However, the fans are still grooving on the song but this video of a cute little girl dancing to the song caught Deepika’s eyes. She retweeted the clip and wrote, “This is beyond anything I could have ever imagined or asked for!!!Thank You my little one! May you be blessed with joy & happiness forever!!!”
