Recreating Nitin Mukesh’s original song from 1989 classic Tezaab, the remake of ‘So Gaya Yeh Jahan’ has been launched by Bypass Road actor Neil Nitin Mukesh. It is the first song from Neil Nitin Mukesh’s first home production. Titled ‘So Gaya Yeh Jahan’, the song features Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, and Chunky Panday. Interestingly, the original song was immortalised by Neil’s father Nitin Mukesh, who has lent his voice to the recreated version also.

Bypass Road marks the directorial debut of Neil’s younger brother Naman Nitin Mukesh. The song has been sung by Jubin Nautiyal and Nitin Mukesh providing additional vocals. It keeps the hook line of the original song with different lyrics, music, vibe, location, and situation for the rest of the track.

The new song seems to raise the temperature on the dance floor. Neil dances with co-star Adah Sharma in the video of the song. The video opens to Neil being smitten by Adah after spotting her with friends in a pub. The two then take centre stage as they dance to the iconic song.

On Wednesday, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his official Instagram handle to share the song. Along with the video, Taran Adarsh wrote, “Glimpse of the iconic song from #Tezaab – #SoGayaYehJahan… Recreated for Naman Nitin Mukesh’s #BypassRoad… Reprised version is sung by Zubin Nautiyal, with special contribution by legendary singer Nitin Mukesh, who rendered the original… #BypassRoad stars Neil Nitin Mukesh (sic).”

The music of the song is composed by Raaj Aashoo and the lyrics are penned by Shabbir Ahmed. The movie is jointly bankrolled by NNM Films and Madan Paliwal of MIRAJ. Apart from starring and producing it, Neil has also written the story, screenplay, and dialogues of Bypass Road.
