Bollywood actors Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, and Varun Dhawan made the 70th Republic Day celebration special at the Attari-Wagah border.

Varun, along with the stars of Uri: The Surgical Strike, performed live for the audience witnessing the beating retreat ceremony.

On Saturday, Vicky Kaushal shared a short video on Twitter, in which the stars could be seen performing with all their energy as the audience cheers them.

“Absolutely thrilled and honoured to celebrate #70thRepublicDay with our First Line of Defence- the BSF Jawaans and a crowd of 28,000 Indians at the Atari Wagah Border. “HOW’s THE JOSH?!” he captioned the post.

Varun was also accompanied by choreographer-director Remo D’Souza at the event.

He took to social media to post a photograph of his patriotic performance, he wrote,”#HappyRepublicDay one of the most incredible moments of my life. Such an honour to perform live at the Attari border for #3.”

Yami Gautam, who had a “surreal experience” at the border wrote: “The josh was unbeatable today for the Republic day celebrations at the Wagah Border.”

Meanwhile, Uri is unstoppable at the Box Office and minted Rs 148.18 crore in three weeks.

Uri: The Surgical Strike is based on the surgical strikes which were carried out by the Indian Army in November 2016.

Besides Vicky Kaushal, the film also features Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari, and debutante Mohit Raina. The film has been directed by Aditya Dhar and has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
