Actor Varun Dhawan, who is currently relishing the success of his film ‘Sui Dhaaga: Made in India’, has been awarded the best actor for his role in the film, October, at the 9th Jagran Film Festival in Mumbai.

The actor took to social media on Sunday and shared a picture from the award night. He tweeted, “Won best actor for ‘October’. The shiuli flower has a life span only for a night but I have a feeling ‘October’ will live on forever.”

Director Shoojit Sircar too retweeted the post and congratulated the actor by writing, “Well deserved Varun Dhawan..keep going.”

The story depicted the life of a hotel-management intern who takes care of this comatose fellow intern unconditionally and unconventionally.

On the work front, Varun Dhawan will be next seen in Kalank along with  Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt.
