Actor Sheezan Khan, arrested in connection with the suicide of actress Tunisha Sharma, shall be in the custody of Mumbai Police for two more days, that is, till December 30. A court in Mumbai accepted the plea of the police and extended his custody for two more days for further investigation in the case. The actor was produced in court after his custody expired today.

Advocate Amit Mishra, who was present in the court during proceedings in Tunisha Sharma’s suicide, said: “It has been informed by the government lawyer that Tunisha Sharma and Sheezan Khan were chatting for almost one and a half hours after which she committed suicide. When Sheezan came to know about the mishap, the first thing he did was delete the chats. The police are trying to retrieve the deleted chats.”

Tunisha’s uncle, Pawan Sharma, said that if Sheezan was innocent, then he did not need to delete the chats. He also added that in the remand report submitted by the police today, the same fact was revealed that Tunisha had shared with her mother – ‘Sheezan had affairs with other women too.’

According to media reports, police have identified the ‘secret girl-friend’ of Sheezan and will soon be questioning her. Police will also record her statement. So far, the police have not been able to unlock Tunisha’s mobile phone and have asked for more days.

Mystery over Tunisha’s death is deepening with each passing day. Police have seized the DVR of eight days of the shoot on the set as they want to observe the body language of both the actors.

A religious difference angle was bubbling since the day of her suicide. Today, Tunisha’s uncle made another revelation that the actress had started wearing hijab after meeting Sheezan. He said, “The police should keep in mind that angle too and investigate accordingly.”

Pictures of her, wearing hijab, are also getting viral in the social media, but there is a pertinent question to be answered fairly – Are those pictures from her reel life or her real life?

Many people including some BJP leaders are terming Tunisha’s suicide as love jihad. Some are suggesting that there was an attempt of conversion. All these allegations, however, have been staunchly denied by the Mumbai Police.

Police have claimed that Sheezan is continuously changing his statement. This is the fifth time he did that. But all such claims have been denied by his lawyer. His statements so far are:

– “Broke up with Tunisha due to religious differences.”

– “Families did not agree with our relationship.”

– “Age gap was a problem in our relationship.”

– “Broke up due to Shraddha butchery case.”

– “Broke up due to clashing careers.”

Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram to allege that the death of Tunisha Sharma is an act of murder. She has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to implement strong laws against polygamy without a consent.
