Before wrapping up the year 2022 it’s time to see some blockbusters of the year.  Although this year was good for Bollywood, several films had to struggle to do well in theaters owing to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and the boycott movement that extended throughout the nation. Brahmastra part one Shiva
The story of Brahmastra: Part One- Shiva much-anticipated film, revolves around Shiva played by Ranbir Kapoor, who is clueless about his extraordinary superpower of not being affected by the fire. He falls in love with Isha played by Alia Bhatt, and they begin exploring their relationship, and soon he gets introduced to his supernatural abilities. The Kashmir Files, written and directed by the renowned Vivek Agnihotri, drifts between two zones. 2020 in the present and 1989–1990 in the past. The story dealt with several extremely important subjects that aren’t often discussed today. The nation’s attention was attracted by the heartbreaking story that depicts the grief, suffering, and struggle of the Kashmiri Pandit population in 1990; it went on to become one of the highest-grossing movie and a matter of national discussion. Gangubai Kathiyawadi
This film is written and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and is said to be one of the best films of Alia Bhatt’s career.  She plays the titular role of Ganga Jagjivandas Kathiawadi, fondly called Gangu, who aspires to become an actress in Bollywood. This film gave Bollywood a new avataar of Alia Bhatt. This movie will go down in Indiana cinema history as one of the best due to its outstanding acting, delicate subject matter depicted on screen, and some fantastic dialogue. This movie went well both in theatres and on OTT; its overall gross was 209.77 crores.

Jugg Jugg Jeeyo
The audience enjoyed the humour and entertaining that this family drama provided. The love story of Kukoo and Naina, childhood friends who get married and relocate overseas, serves as the narrative’s opening act. She has a good profession, but he doesn’t, and their relationship quickly suffers. Eventually, they decide to get divorced, but their ups and downs and certain family events brought them back together.  This family drama glued the audience and the actors like Neetu Singh and Anil Kapoor made everyone fan their acting again.   Despite having a thin plot, the multi-star movie performed well at the box office and earned 101.23 crores.
