Veteran actor Tommy Lee Jones is all set to head the jury at this year’s Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF).
The 71-year-old star will be joined on the judging table by Chinese actress Zhao Wei, Iranian director Reza Mirkarimi, French director-writer Martin Provost and local actor Masatoshi Nagase, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The jury will analyse 15 feature films in the main competition, which will open with local movie Fullmetal Alchemist.
An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power will close the TIFF in Al Gore’s presence, where the politician- environmentalist will talk about climate crisis.
Special sections at the fest will include Asian Future, Japanese Cinema Splash, Taiwanese Cinema Renaissance, the anime focus World of Keiichi Hara and the World of Steven Soderbergh.
With Halloween falling in the middle of the festival, horror specials will include an all-night George A Romero Forever Night: Thanks for the Memories, including a showcase of Night of the Living Dead, as an homage to the horror genius.
The 30th edition of TIFF will run from October 25 to November 3.
