Allu Arjun: Telugu cinema treats its women with maximum respect
As Me Too movement has hit the entertainment industry, Telugu superstar Allu Arjun has spoken on the issue and vouched for the Telugu film industry.
After Sri Reddy, another actress has now opened up about her experience with the Tollywood sex racket operating in Chicago. An NRI couple, Mogudumidi Kishan (alias Sreeraj Chennupati) and his wife Chandra were allegedly operating a prostitution ring involving Tollywood actresses.

After they were busted, people have come out and revealed various details about the high-profile sex racket. Anasuya Bharadwaj opened up to a leading daily, she said, “I haven’t visited the United States for a long time. I attended an event with music composer Devi Sri Prasad way back in 2014. In 2016, Sreeraj contacted me from his American number, asking me to attend a Telugu association event. I was uncomfortable with the way he spoke. He was talking about making a commitment. I refused to attend the event. Despite my refusal, he put my picture on the poster. I tweeted saying I have nothing to with the event”.

Prior to this, Sri Reddy disclosed that even she was approached by the couple. “Even I was approached. They have coordinators in Hyderabad. When people do not get offers here in the industry, they go to the US where they are lured into prostitution,” she said.

“They will arrange visa and everything else for you. Artistes are paid anything between $1000 and $10,000, depending on their popularity,” she further added.
Meanwhile, during the investigation, the police have discovered a ledger bearing the names of the actresses involved in the racket.
