Thugs of Hindostan | Katrina Kaif reveals release date of trailer
In the film, Katrina plays the role of Suraiyya, a dancer who is about to perform before an audience which is waiting for the curtains to go up.

The much-awaited film of the year Thugs of Hindostan has been making headlines since its announcement. With two of the biggest and appealing names from Bollywood industry—Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan being directly related to the film, the audience is all geared up for the trailer now.
Teasing the audience with the motion posters of the characters from the film, Katrina Kaif, who is playing Suraiyya in the movie, announced the release date of the trailer via ‘Ask me anything’ feature on Instagram.
Monday morning brought some great news for the fans as the Ek Tha Tiger actor, in response to the coveted question via ‘Ask me a question’ session about the launch of the trailer of Thugs of Hindostan, revealed the date, which is September 27, i.e. Thursday.
In the film, Katrina plays the role of Suraiyya, a dancer who is about to perform before an audience which is waiting for the curtains to go up.
The makers have previously revealed the characters played by Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Sheikh, and that of the antagonist played by Lloyd Owen.
Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, Thugs of Hindostan is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel, ‘Confessions of a Thug’. The film is slated to release on November 8.
The film directed by Prasanna, marks a special project for Aamir Khan. The film features Genelia D'Souza in a key role and introduces several fresh faces to the big screen.
Aamir said, “When two people from different religions, like Hindu and Muslim, fall in love, it’s not love jihad. It’s simply two human beings connecting."
