The favorite couple of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, have completed 27 years of marriage. SRK and Gauri, who now have a beautiful family with three kids Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam, have always been this adorable duo.

Nineteen years ago, SRK and the first lady of B-Town sat down with Simi Grewal and got candid about the birth of their first child, their love story and the rough patch in their relationship.

Shah Rukh Khan, who declared that Gauri is like a ‘queen’ for him, wasn’t the ‘perfect boyfriend’ throughout their dating phase. During the interview, Gauri revealed that ‘King Khan’ is among those possessive ones and she had to teach him the lesson the hard way.

Asked if Shah Rukh was protective or possessive, Gauri confessed: “It was possessiveness which turned to protective.”

“I was very possessive, like a dog. I was downright vulgar and sick,” Shah Rukh added.

Gauri went on to reveal that he didn’t let her wear a white shirt because he thought it looked “transparent”.

“I guess, I had become very cheap, I enjoyed that cheapness though,” Shah Rukh quipped.

Gauri further narrated how she dealt with it. “I kicked him and left him for very long.”

“He had to learn because I said, okay bye, you’ll never see me,” she added.

Later on, in the interview, the actor, who has earned the title of ‘King of romance’ in Bollywood, revealed the dumbest thing he had ever done in the name of love.

“She (Gauri) had come for holiday here with her friends. I searched for her every day and night in Bombay and I thought Bombay was only till Haji Ali. The day I was supposed to go, I knew she liked swimming, so I asked is there any beach here apart from Chowpatty? I went to Juhu beach and I really did find her,” Shah Rukh said.

“And I wanted to drown him in the sea,” Gauri added.

She went on to say that “at that point, I wanted to kill him” because she had come for her holiday and wanted it to be on her own.

“The last thing I wanted was to see his face,” Gauri continued.
