If Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ Mehendi ceremony pictures melted your heart, brace yourself for snaps from the Sangeet ceremony because it was an event you have never seen before. The Bollywood actress, who got hitched at the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur, made the ceremonies every bit royal and joyful.

Before we could even get over the couple’s revelry in the Mehendi function, Priyanka Chopra unveiled some beautiful glimpses of her Sangeet ceremony.

On 2 December, the Quantico star gave us a sneak peek of merrymaking, wherein the Chopras and the Jonas indulged in making the evening a memorable one for the couple. She took to Instagram to share a video and a few photographs from the event.

“It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always. as a huge celebration of love. Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening). another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together.

And what a performance it was. Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. It is an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends.. *grateful,” the caption read.

Parineeti Chopra, Priyanka’s cousin and actress, recreated Priyanka and Nick’s love story along with other family members.

The 36-year-old Priyanka herself took to the dance floor with her mother Madhu Chopra. The Jonas family too didn’t hold back as the groom set the stage on fire with his brothers – Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas.  Game of Thrones star and Joe’s fiancée Sophie Turner, too, joined them on the stage.

Priyanka and Nick said the vows on 1 December in a Christian wedding officiated by the singer’s father Paul Jonas. Today, they got married as per Hindu rituals. The couple will soon fly down to Mumbai for their reception which will take place at The Grand Hyatt.
