Monisha’s inherited middle-class lifestyle
Manisha became Monisha as she went a class higher after marrying Sahil Sarabhai. From bargaining in a mall to wrapping rotis in newspaper, Monisha was the epitome of reasons for Maya’s cringe face and non-stop rants that we enjoyed to the bits.
Maya’s high-class show off
Charity and fundraiser happen over cocktails, wine and cheese parties for her. Off-shoulder blouse inspired by Maya’s friend Sarita and “Monisha is so middle-class!” kept us drooling over her classy and elegant tantrums.
Rosesh’s annoying yet funny poems
“Momma ka purse jaise hospital ki pyaari si koi nurse” and “dubduk dubduk guduk”, we had a love-hate relationship with the bizarre poems of Momma’s boy Rosesh.
Indravadan’s pranks
The most fun-loving and witty dad Indravadan kept the whole family on their toes. He bullied Rosesh and the chemistry between the two tickled our funny bones.
Dushyant’s over-explanation of things
The weird and crazy son-in-law Dushyant had something inappropriate to say every time he explained a phenomenon. From an elevator to a refrigerator, he gave awkward explanations of how various appliances function.
Madhu phupha’s hain! Hain?
Madhu phupha’s hain! Hain? Gets on Indravadan’s nerves. The dumb charades that Indu plays with Madhu phupha made us roll on the floor laughing every time.
Sahil’s intelligence to escape clumsy situations
A perfect example of how to maintain a balance between being supportive of one’s wife and agreeing to mother, who dislikes the wife, Sahil taught men some tactics and life-hacks.
As the clock ticks, the excitement for all the Sarabhai fans reaches peak. We wait for the crazy family to be back on screen to take us on a laughter ride once again.
