Actor Shah Rukh Khan once shared that he never visited Kashmir because his late father had asked him not to go there without him.

It has been two years since Tapsee Pannu starrer Pink hit the screens. To mark the second anniversary of the film’s release, the ‘Manmarziyaan’ actor took to social media and said that the film not only gave her an audience but also a sense of direction.
The actor tweeted on Sunday, “Two years of ‘Pink’! The movie that not just gave me an audience but a sense of direction. What a journey it has been since then! Grateful. Proud to be the ‘Pink’ girl,”

The film, which starred Amitabh Bachchan as well, was based on a girl named Minal (Tapsee Pannu), who, after being molested, tries to file an FIR against a politician’s nephew. When the subsequent case gets rigged, Deepak (Amitabh Bachchan), a retired lawyer, helps her to fight and win the case against the rich and powerful defendants.
Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, Pink was well received by the audience and critics alike. It also received the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues.
On the work front, Tapsee is currently shooting for Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Badla’, which also stars her Pink co-star Amitabh Bachchan.
