Actor Ileana D’Cruz has always been vocal about many social issues but the actor believes talking about casting couch will end one’s career.
During the promotions of her next film Raid, Ileana told the Bombay Times in an interview: “The fact of the matter is that if an A-list star is accused of something like this, you will require a large number of people to come forward, including A-list actresses and actors, to make a difference… It will take many voices for people to acknowledge that huge stars could have such an ugly side.”

Ileana also went on to say that actors are worshiped in India and if you talk about casting couch then your career will end for good.
“It might sound cowardly, but I do agree that if you speak out about the casting couch, it will end your career,” Ileana said.
Casting couch is the most infamous act of sexual harassment female actors face in the film industry. Neither Bollywood nor Hollywood is safe from it.
After the Harvey Weinstein scandal back in 2017, where numerous actresses and artistes took a stand against sexual harassment, many more such cases has been revealed.
Last year, Richa Chadha also shared her experience but didn’t reveal the name until and unless someone could promise her the safety of her employment in the film industry.
From Hollywood, many more prominent names came up and one of them being Kevin Spacey after a child artiste accused the veteran actor of sexually harassing him.
On Spacey’s involvement in the casting couch in Hollywood, Ileana said: “I can’t watch Kevin Spacey’s show anymore, though I have loved it earlier because he has been accused of harassment. It disgusts me as a person.”
Campaigns like Time’s Up and #MeToo were formed after the revelation of Hollywood’s biggest controversy that supports the victims and takes a charge against all the sexual predators.
On the work front, Ileana will be next seen with her Badshaho co-star Ajay Devgn in Raid, which is scheduled to release on March 16.
