Shraddha Kapoor took ‘thepla’ for her ‘foreign’ trip
Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor hilariously shared that her mother gave “theplas” in tiffin for her trip to the Red Sea Film Festival.
When asked about the standard ‘college movie trope that they hate’, Varun Sharma said, “… of one kid with a bag entering from the main gate,” to which Tahir Bhasin added, ” which is the opening shot of our trailer”.
Chhichhore has been creating much buzz with its quirky songs, short teaser promos and trailer that the makers launched earlier in the month. In a recent interaction with film critic Anupama Chopra, the lead cast of the film including Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma and Tahir Raj Bhasin shared their experiences from the shoot to pre-production of the Nitesh Tiwari directorial.
When asked if playing 45-year old in the film, made the cast confront their mortality, all answered that that happened everyday. And, more than the physicality of experience, it was a psychological shift which told him( Tahir Raj Bhasin) that this is the time he has to live the life he wants to.

Questioning Sushant on an interview he had given earlier, Anupama asked him about what he meant as the ’emotional leakage of an actor, that an actor should not push too hard to be good’.

“I read in some book where they say that when we look at somebody, there are few things that we understand which tell us that the other person is feeling something. But, there are millions of things which we notice subconsciously that tell us exactly the same thing. That’s why it is an instantaneous reaction. So, it was very handy as an actor to understand that if you just feel it…you will emotionally leak what you’re supposed to do… If you are thinking more about what to do, we lack improvisational skills, as an actor we only want more improvisation…” Sushant answered in response.
When asked about the standard ‘college movie trope that they hate’, Varun Sharma said, “… of one kid with a bag entering from the main gate,” to which Tahir Bhasin added, “which is the opening shot of our trailer”.
Tahir added, “When college friends meet after a long time and they say ‘tu yaar vaise ka vaise hi hai’ or if they say ‘yaar tu toh badal gya hai’.”
“Maybe those co-ordinated hi-five shots, not just one pair, but 6-7 pair at the same time in slow motion,” Shraddha Kapoor added.
Sushant Singh Rajput spoke of a more real problem, that ” of the male to female ratio, not equal in the engineering college I went to and the ones shown in films.”
The cast also spoke on various issues, from the kind of director they like to their prep for the upcoming film.
Chhichhore is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and is slated to release on 6 September 2019.
