Varun Dhawan: Bollywood needs new voices, artists from across India
Bollywood star Varun Dhawan, who is gearing up for his upcoming film ‘Baby John’, has spoken about what needs to change in the Hindi film industry.
Sui Dhaaga: Made in India co-stars Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan will be seen in a completely different look in the film.
The actors on Monday went for shopping in the local market of Bhopal. Both the actors were happy shopping around and were awestruck by the local saree vendor’s handmade saree work. Varun Dhawan took a picture with the local saree vendor and captioned it as #chanderisarees are as beautiful as the people of Chanderi #madeinindia. It sometimes takes almost a month to make one. Since @anushkasharma bought some she asked me to take a look and I also ended up buying few and in the process learned so much about our #indianhandlooms #respect #art #suidhaaga

Anushka also took to the Instagram to share the picture of her shopping and captioned it, “Spent my day off buying lots and lots of Chanderi Sarees directly from the weavers who spend tireless amounts of time and energy making one beautiful saree. Sometimes it even takes one whole month to make just one! Huge respect to their art & craft 🙏🏼 @varundvn #MakeInIndia #IndianHandlooms #Handloom #Chanderi
Their post will definitely make the local vendor’s work recognised at the national level.
The actors have teamed up for the first time for the silver screen as the actors go desi for their first venture. The film is slated to release on 28th September 2018.
