Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor start filming ‘RC 16’ in Mysore
'RC 16' is a sports drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana, set in Uttarandhra. The film stars Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles, with Jagapathi Babu joining the cast in a key role.
At a press meet, which was held a couple of days ago, the team announced that RRR would hit the theatres on July 30, 2020.
Baahubali director SS Rajamouli is ready with the shooting schedule for his next venture, RRR. But unlike Baahubali, which was shot in a grand set, RRR will be filmed at real locations across the nation.
RRR, one of the most awaited films, is likely to have a budget of nearly Rs 400 crore. The team has already started preparation.
RRR will be a fictionalised story based on two legendary freedom fighters Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem.

It has a star cast that includes NTR Junior, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani and Daisy Edgar-Jones in lead roles.
The actors will have an extensive Gujarat-Maharashtra schedule. Rajamouli will work on his 10-day schedule in Gujarat and then fly down to Pune for another 20-day schedule.
Rajamouli recently revealed that RRR would be a pan India project and shot at multiple locations. He said, “Unlike Bahubali, RRR is getting shot at various real locations and Rajamouli is building huge sets at real locations.”
The acclaimed filmmaker is known to be a perfectionist with his works. His Baahubali franchise had earlier broken all records by becoming the biggest grosser at the box office.
Rajamouli is planning to wrap up the film by the end of the year.
