Alongside Rajinikanth, the film features a stellar ensemble, including Telugu actor Nagarjuna, Kannada star Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj. Bollywood icon Aamir Khan is also rumored to appear in a cameo role. The film will also showcase Shruti Haasan, Rebe Monica John, and Junior MGR in key roles.

Music for the film is being composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj. The film is being produced by Sun Pictures, under the leadership of Kalanithi Maran.

One of the most exciting aspects of ‘Coolie’ is the reunion of Rajinikanth and Sathyaraj, who will share screen space after 38 years.

The two last worked together in the 1986 hit ‘Mr. Bharath’, where Sathyaraj played Rajinikanth’s father. Interestingly, Sathyaraj had previously turned down roles in some of Rajinikanth’s films, including ‘Enthiran’ and ‘Sivaji’.

Set against the backdrop of gold smuggling, ‘Coolie’ is Rajinikanth’s 171st film. Director Lokesh Kanakaraj has clarified that this movie will be a standalone project, not part of his popular Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).

Fans are eagerly awaiting what promises to be a high-octane thriller, blending action with the charisma of Rajinikanth and his talented co-stars.
