Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan has been booked for fraud and forgery by a member of the Telangana Union of Working Journalists (TUWJ), Gundelly Rajesh.

The case was lodged against the actor for allegedly making allegations against various news channels, when the actor posted a video on his social media handle, which shows actor Sri Reddy abusing Kalyan with an unparliamentary word.

It all started when Reddy blamed Kalyan for not giving his reaction to the controversy surrounding the sexual exploitation of women in Tollywood.

Apparently, while lashing out at Kalyan, she made an objectionable remark on Kalyan’s mother, which in turn fumed the actor to lash out on the various media houses on his social media handles.

In his complaint to the Banjara Hill police, Gundelly said, “Pawan Kalyan and others have resorted to this crime by fraudulently and dishonestly committed forgery of the above said electronic document by illegally downloading it from the website without obtaining any consent from TV9 and showcasing it as genuine for the purpose of cheating and harming the reputation of journalists in general, and those of TV9 in particular.”
