Chiranjeevi sets Guinness World Record as most prolific Indian film star
Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi earns a Guinness World Record for being the most prolific Indian film star, celebrating 45 years of iconic performances and dance moves.
Actress Parvati Nair, known for her role alongside superstar Thalapathy Vijay in the movie ‘GOAT’, is facing legal trouble after a domestic worker accused her of harassment.
A case has been registered against the actress and five others following a complaint by a man named Subash Chandra Bose, who previously worked at her residence.
The legal case stems from an incident in 2022 when Bose, who was employed as a helper at KJR Studios, was also asked to perform domestic chores at Nair’s home. During his time there, several items from the actress’s home, including a laptop, watch, camera, and mobile phone, reportedly went missing. Suspicion fell on Bose, prompting Nair to file a theft complaint against him.

Bose, however, has since come forward with allegations of his own. According to his statement, after release from custody following the theft accusation, he returned to work at KJR Studios. It was then, Bose claims, that Nair visited the studio and assaulted him. He alleges that she slapped him while five others accompanying her verbally abused him.

Bose initially took his complaint to the Teynampet Police Station but says they took no action. Frustrated with the lack of response, he decided to take the matter to court. The Saidapet 19th MM Court took notice of his complaint and ordered the registration of an FIR (First Information Report) against Parvati Nair and the others involved. As a result, police investigations into the incident are now underway.
The charges filed fall under several sections of the BNS legal code, specifically sections 296(b), 115(2), and 351(2). These sections typically pertain to assault and harassment.
On the professional front, she last appeared in the film ‘GOAT’, where she played a prominent role opposite Vijay.
