National Cancer Awareness Day highlights the importance of prevention, early detection, and healthy lifestyle choices in the fight against cancer.
South Indian actress T Krishna Kumari passed away due to ailments at an age of 85. Krishna Kumari had earlier been diagnosed with bone marrow cancer and was admitted to Apollo Hospital. Krishna Kumari even had to undergo chemotherapy for her diagnosis on March 2017.
The south Indian actress was born in Naithi, West Bengal on March 6, 1933. She was the sister of Sowkar Janaki, the yesteryear actress. Krishna Kumari started her acting debut with the Telugu movie Navvithe Navaratnalu in 1951 and later on went to act in more than 50 movies in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.
Krishna Kumari’s demise has saddened many of her fans and many of them took to Twitter to express their grief and offer condolences to her family. Many even remembered the best parts in the actress’ heydays.
