Composed by the Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio and penned by Gulzar, the song has been sung by Shankar Mahadevan.
Talking about the song, Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy said, “The brief was to create a song that showcases the trials and tribulations of Sandeep Singh and yet make it about how he stood tall in spite of it. The song is just that and I am sure it will become an anthem for every fighter out there.”
Soorma has been directed by Shaad Ali and produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions.
Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah has come under the radar of netizens for deleting his Facebook post in which he defended and supported Diljit Dosanjh amid the ‘Sardaar Ji 3’ controversy.
“I STAND FIRMLY WITH DILJIT,” Shah wrote in all caps, leaving no room for ambiguity. “The dirty tricks deptt of Jumla Party has been awaiting a chance to attack him. They think they’ve got it at last.”
“There was no advisory, no directive, no indication of such a situation back then,” Sidhu explained. “We didn’t violate any law or sentiment at the time of filming.”
