Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre, who is undergoing treatment for cancer, has come forth as a source of inspiration for many. After being diagnosed of metastatic cancer, the Sarfarosh actress has grown a little closer to her fans through social media.
The 43-year-old actress, who is quite active on social media these days, shared a heartwarming message for her husband, Goldie Behl, on their 16th marriage anniversary. Addressing her filmmaker-husband a “source of strength”, she penned an emotional note on Monday.

“As soon I began to write this… I knew instantly that I wouldn’t be able to put down in words all the emotions and thoughts that were running through my head,” the actress wrote in the note.

Speaking of Behl, she wrote, “Husband. Companion. Best friend. My rock. For me, that’s @goldiebehl. Marriage is standing by each other, through thick and thin, in sickness and in health… and god knows, how we’ve been through that this year.”

“What not many people realize is that cancer is not just an individual battle..,” she added.
“Thank you for being my source of strength, love and joy, for being with me every single step of the way… Thank you is such an understatement for how I feel. What do I say about someone who is a part of you, who is yours and nothing and nobody else matters? Happy anniversary Goldie,” Sonali concluded her message.
Sonali Bendre and Goldie Behl tied the knot in 2002. The couple has a 12-year-old son, Ranveer.
