After showcasing different avatars in films and latest as a menacing tyrant in Padmaavat, actor Ranveer Singh now will appear as a dashing cop in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Simmba.
After completing the shooting of Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, Ranveer is hitting the gym again after losing weight for his role in Gully Boy. Now, he is bulking up for the role of a cop in Simmba.

Ranveer Singh shared a picture from the upcoming film on his social media handles. The caption read as “#Repost @itsrohitshetty. He calls himself ‘ROHIT SHETTY का HERO’… I call him ‘The DYNAMITE’ Yeh 28th December ko Phatega!!!”

Ranveer’s never-before-seen avatar is one of the many reasons to watch this film. The film is being directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by one of the biggest banners, Dharma Productions. Simmba will also be Sara Ali Khan’s second film after her debut in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath.
Apart from Simmba, Ranveer Singh has Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy alongside Alia Bhatt, and soon after Simmba, Ranveer will start prepping for Kabir Khan’s 1983, where he will be seen playing the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev.
