Th trailer of Nitesh Tiwari’s much awaited film, Chhichhore, is out. The film is a comedy drama that starrs Shraddha Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput and Varun Sharma in the lead. It follows the story of a group of friends from their college life into middle-age.
Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari of Dangal fame shared the trailer on social media. He wrote on his official Twitter handle, “#Chhichhore is a tribute to all my friends who have stood by me through thick and thin. Thanks for enriching my life with your wonderful presence. Happy friendship day!”

The trailer shows a Student of the Year kind of setup, only more middle-class, believable and is situated in a college where friends get to know each other over a period of time.

Makers shared the trailer of the film with a synopsis that read, “The Director of Dangal takes you to the world that is full of exuberance and fun that a hostel and college life has to offer. A world where one meets interesting characters, shares great times and becomes friends for life. Anni and Maya’s these friends are Sexa, Derek, Mummy, Acid and Bevda, each one as unique as his name. Together the group takes you on a journey which is hilarious yet so true. The story offers a seamless transition between the past and present where friends join in the journey and have a re-union they never ever thought of.”
Apart from the lead trio Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty, Tushar Pandey, Saharch Kumar Shukla and Prateik Babbar are also part of the ensemble drama that is slated to release on 30 August 2019.
