Facing racism at international airports is not a new story. Passengers often become victims of harsh behaviour due to their colour, and it’s not any different for the celebrities too. Recently, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty ended up becoming a victim of racism in Australia.
In her latest post on Instagram, the 43-year-old actress allegedly claimed that she was harassed because of her “brown” skin at the Sydney airport. Shilpa shared the picture of the duffle bag she was carrying, which triggered the racist incident.

The Dhadkan star went on to narrate the whole incident on Instagram: “TONE can’t change with preference to #COLOUR. “WE” are NOT #pushovers and they MUST know that being #callous and #Rude will NOT BE TOLERATED.”
Previously, Shilpa faced racist behaviour in Britain’s popular reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother in which she had participated in 2007. Shetty was referred to as “the Indian” by a fellow contestant named Jade Goody.
