Shraddha Kapoor took ‘thepla’ for her ‘foreign’ trip
Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor hilariously shared that her mother gave “theplas” in tiffin for her trip to the Red Sea Film Festival.
Despite being the daughter of famous actor Shakti Kapoor, and classical singer Shivangi Kapoor, and the niece of famous Marathi actresses Padmini Kolhapure and Tejaswini Kolhapure, she was never the privileged star kid.
‘Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkaar’ actress turned 36 today. Born on March 3rd, 1987 in Mumbai, she started her Bollywood career with the film ‘Teen Patti’ in 2010 but got recognition from the 2013 film Aashiqui 2 along with Aditya Roy Kapoor, and she won everyone’s heart. Then she did some very successful movies like Ek Villain, Saaho, Half Girlfriend, etc, but her acting was most appreciated in films like Haider, ABCD2 and Haseena Parker.
Not only this, Sharaddha is one of the most popular actresses in the industry as she was extensively browsed actress in 2014-15 and also listed in Forbes Magazine Popularity 100 as one of the most successful actresses.

She went through many audition rounds for many films and got rejected too, and finally because of her great acting skill she is now one of the highly paid actresses in Bollywood. Living in Mumbai she did part of her schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School and later shifted to the American School of Bombay. She then went to Boston University for her graduation but dropped out in her first year itself to make her Bollywood debut, after Ambika Hinduja spotted her and cast her in Teen Patti.
Later, she learned direction and acting skills under the guidance of Mohit Tugnait. Shraddha is also a trained classical singer and has sung several of her film songs.
This year after the big budget Movie ‘Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar’ pairing with Ranbir Kapoor which will release on March 8, she will be seen in ‘Chaalbaaz in London’ Stree 2′, ‘Dhadkan 2’ and ‘Naagin.’
