A lot of Bollywood celebrities have spoken in support of actress Tanushree Dutta after she accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of sexual misconduct. Actor Shakti Kapoor mocked Dutta’s allegations by saying the incident took place 10 years ago and he was “a kid” then.
In an interaction with media, Shakti said, “I don’t know anything about this case. This was 10 years back, I was a kid back then.” Further, he added, “I have just returned from the US, I had been there for Ganpati Bappa’s pooja. I don’t know anything about this case.”

On Tuesday, The Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA) extended support to Dutta. In a statement, it said the decision taken back in July 2008 “was not appropriate as the chief grievance of sexual harassment was not even addressed”.
CINTAA went on to appeal the authorities “to take cognisance of Ms Dutta’s statements and conduct an impartial and speedy enquiry so that truth and justice may prevail”.

The Aashiq Banaya Aapne actor Tanushree has alleged that Patekar misbehaved with her on the sets of the film ‘Horn Ok Pleasss’. Patekar is learnt o have sent a legal notice to her after fer allegations.
Meanwhile, Tanushree has said she has not got any legal notice from the actor’s lawyer, adding that she is not afraid of it either.
