Bollywood and global stars, including Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Katrina Kaif, have frequently sported her designs at high-profile events.
Shakira also shared that her doctors advised her against performing at the National Stadium in Peru, as her health was not in a condition to take the stage that evening.

Shakira has been hospitalized due to an abdominal issue, forcing her to cancel her highly anticipated concert in Peru. The pop star shared the news with her fans on Instagram, expressing her regret over the situation.
The singer, who is currently on her ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ world tour, wrote in an Instagram story, “I am sorry to inform you all that last night I had to go to the ER for an abdominal issue and am currently hospitalized.”

“I am very sad not to be able to take the stage today,” Shakira continued. She emphasized how much she had been looking forward to performing for her fans in Peru.
While she expressed her disappointment, she also hoped to recover soon and return to perform at her second Lima show.
Shakira reassured her fans that her team and the concert promoters were working on rescheduling the event. “They are already working on a new date to communicate to you,” she said. She ended the statement with love for her followers and signed off simply as “Shak.”
Although Shakira did not provide further details about her health condition, the news comes just days after she kicked off her tour in Rio de Janeiro on February 11. The ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ album, which she is promoting on the tour, earned her a Grammy Award earlier this month.
At the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, Shakira won Best Latin Pop Album, marking her first album in seven years.
During her acceptance speech, she dedicated the award to “all my immigrant brothers and sisters” and to “all of those women who work really hard every day to provide for their families.”
