The entire nation was in a shock on Sunday morning, as legendary actress Sridevi died in Dubai due to cardiac arrest.

Meanwhile, February 25 also happened to be actor Shahid Kapoor’s birthday. A lot of Bollywood fans wished Shahid on this birthday but Shahid took to Twitter to not only thank his fans for the birthday wishes, but also express his grief over Sridevi’s death.

Want to sincerely thank you all for your wishes. But today is the day to remember Srideviji. To remember her for her brilliance and the magic she brought into our lives. All our love and wishes must be for her today. May she rest in peace.

Sridevi was in Dubai for Mohit Marwah’s wedding and chose to stay back after the wedding when the tragedy happened. As per the reports of Khaleej times, Boney Kapoor flew back from Mumbai to surprise the actress with a dinner and the couple spoke for 15 minutes after which Sridevi went to the bathroom to get ready. But 15 minutes later she was found lying motionless in the bathtub and was rushed to the hospital where she was declared dead.

Sridevi’s mortal remains will be brought to India by Monday evening.
