Salman Khan’s ambitious project Bharat took a lot of hard work and time to come into being.
In the Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial, the Wanted fame actor will be seen in six-different looks. From the early years of “Jawani-Janeman” chapter to middle aged Khan working in an oil rig in the Gulf countries to a more suave and poised old-look, Salman’s looks from the film have been making his fans wait in anticipation for Bharat‘s release.

Bharat also stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Nora Fatehi and Sunil Grover in key roles. Katrina will also be seen in a completely different avatar in the film; her simple and saree styled look is getting the simple yet rugged trend back in fashion.

Ahead of the film’s release, Bharat‘s director, Ali Abbas Zafar talked about the Dabangg star’s transformation in the film. “This was a difficult task and one has to be very patient with the procedure. It took almost two-and-a-half hours to transform Salman into an older avatar. He had to try over 20 different moustaches and beards for this look.” he told IANS.

The film will trace India’s post-Independence history from the perspective of a common man; following his life’s journey from age 18 to 70. Salman will be seen in six different looks portraying six different phases of his life.
