Salman Khan is all set to return as the host for the much-awaited 18th season of ‘Bigg Boss’, which will premiere on October 6 at 9 PM. Fans of the popular reality show have been buzzing with excitement, especially since Khan skipped hosting duties for ‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’, which was hosted by his ‘No Entry’ co-star Anil Kapoor. The theme for this season is ‘Time ka Tandav’.

The first teaser for ‘Bigg Boss 18’ was released last week, featuring Salman’s voice as he introduced the intriguing theme for this season: ‘Time Ka Tandav’, which translates to “the havoc of time.” A second promo, aired on Sunday, gave fans a glimpse of Salman himself, dressed in a dark blue shirt and black suit, standing atop a massive ticking clock. In this visually stunning clip, he dives deeper into the theme, explaining how the show’s iconic Bigg Boss eye will no longer focus solely on the present but will also explore the past and the future.

Colors TV further fueled fan excitement with a post on Instagram, which read, “Iss baar ghar mein bhuchaal aayega, kyunki Bigg Boss mein ‘Time Ka Tandav’ chaayega!” (An earthquake will strike the house this time, because the havoc of time will dominate Bigg Boss). This suggests that the upcoming season will be more dramatic and unpredictable than ever before.

Salman Khan has become synonymous with ‘Bigg Boss’, having hosted the show since its fourth season in 2010. He also hosted the second season of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ on JioCinema, while the first OTT season was hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar. The previous season, ‘Bigg Boss 17’, saw stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui claim victory.
