For the first time in the history of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, two contestants were announced winners. The finale episode of the singing reality show aired late night on Sunday (October 29).
Contestants Anjali Gaikwad (11) and Shreyan Bhattacharya (12) were announced winners of the musical show. After an intense musical battle which lasted for almost eight months, the show ended on a good note.
Anjali, who hails from Maharashtra, performed the rendition of songs Deewani Mastani and Jhalla Wallah during the finale. She had entered the show midway as a challenger, therefore, her tenure on the show was less as compared to Shreyan’s. The 12-year-old crooned Haawyein, Zalima and Sooraj Duba Hai in the finale episode.

Also, the show which was judged by music maestro Himesh Reshmiya, and singers Neha Kakar and Javed Ali, became the longest running musical reality TV show ever. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2017 also had a unique concept of introducing a jury panel of 30 members.
The finale also saw some great performances from the likes of Ravi Dubey, Bharti Singh and Kapil Sharma.
The show aired its final and 69th episode on October 29.
