Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has carved his own space in the entertainment industry with acclaimed performances. The actor is basking in glory on professional front besides constantly making news on the personal front too.

The actor said, “There were rumours that my father gave Rs 10 lakh to Aditya Chopra, to get me launched. That really hurt me, it brought my whole upbringing into question. How can you write something so false…? I had genuinely struggled and am proud of what I achieved. Young actors will message me and ask, ‘Yo bro, I can cough up the money, tell me what I have to do.’ And I have to say that these rumors are not true, stop believing that!”

The year 2018 had been a fantastic year for the actor as he gave two massive hits — Padamaavat and Simmba. On the personal front, he married top actress and long time girlfriend Deepika Padukone who he dated her for six years.

When asked if he ever had thoughts of losing Deepika, he said, “No, I never had such a thought. Of course there are ups and downs, but I had made up my mind that she was the one, she is the only one whom I wanted to marry, so I was prepared to go through anything.”

Ranveer Singh is gearing up for the release of Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, which also stars Alia Bhatt, on 14 February 2019.
